As directed by the North Dakota Legislature, a Water Project Prioritization Guidance Concept was developed and approved by the State Water Commission to implement a more formal means of drafting a schedule of priority projects as part of budgeting and cost-sharing processes. The idea of the concept is to separate project types within priority categories including: essential, high, moderate, and low priorities.
